CATRINA LARGE GESTURAL PUPPET

The Large Gestural Catrina puppet is life-size and designed for full, expressive facial manipulation. The puppeteer’s hand enters the back of the head through three slots: the top for four fingers, the middle unused, and the bottom for the thumb. This setup allows precise and integrated control of the puppet’s facial expressions.

Handcrafted by sculpting a special foam block, each puppet is unique. It features fabric covering the puppeteer’s hand and forearm, plus two movable hands: one controlled by inserting the pinky finger, the other moved by the free hand, enabling natural, realistic gestures.
