DOBBY BIG GESTURAL PUPPET
The Large Gestural Dobby Puppet is nearly life-sized and designed for full, expressive facial manipulation—perfect for bringing this beloved character to life. The puppeteer’s hand enters through the back of the head via three slots: top for four fingers, middle unused, and bottom for the thumb. This structure allows for fluid movement and vivid expressions.
Each puppet is handmade by sculpting a special foam block, making every piece one of a kind. Dobby includes fabric to cover the puppeteer’s hand and forearm, and has two movable hands: one controlled with the pinky, the other with the free hand—allowing for coordinated, natural, and emotional gestures.
